In the early 1870s, Pioche wasn’t just a mining camp. It was one of the roughest boomtowns in the American West. Silver brought fortune seekers from across the world, including waves of Irish miners, laborers, and drifters chasing luck in the desert hills. Saloons lit the streets day and night, poker tables ran hot, and disputes were often settled faster with whiskey and revolvers than with the law.

It’s said that more than 70 men were laid to rest in Boot Hill before Pioche ever saw a natural death. The Irish were known for their grit, their loyalty, their love of celebration… and their willingness to test fate when the stakes were high. Their rowdy spirit helped shape the town’s legendary reputation — one built on risk, resilience, and a little bit of luck.

*a $2 service fee is added for online payments. Tickets available the night of the event in the Pioche Chamber Cottage. Trucker hats available to the first 100 crawlers. $5 drink value per token.
