Bank Club of Pioche

723 Main Street, Pioche, Nevada    775-962-5116
Hours of operation: 10:00 am until Closing

When visiting Pioche be sure to swing by for a cold beverage at The Bank Club. Originally built in the 1860s as the Wells Fargo Freight Office and Pioche Bank, the building converted to The Alamo Club Bar in 1901. Sure there were tons of mining accidents and other causes of death during those early prospecting days, but Pioche in particular was known as quite the rowdy little community. With nearly 60% of the murders in the state occurring in Pioche, it should come as no surprise that the Alamo Club Bar was nicknamed the “Bucket of Blood Saloon!” It has even been said that famous gunslingers like Doc Holliday and Butch Cassidy frequented the establishment during those years.

While the bar has changed hands numerous times and gone through a variety of name changes, it has remained a saloon all these years and oozes Nevada character. The Alamo Club was purchased by Mr. Jim Marsh and dubbed the Bank Club in 2004. After extensive remodeling the club reopened in September of 2004, and was renamed “The Bank Club of Pioche.” With every modern day convenience imaginable, it still has tons of Nevada charm. Appreciate the modern conveniences, but be sure to take note of the original bank vault in the back of the bar.

The Bank Club offers live entertainment and dancing on Labor Day Weekend and other holidays throughout the year, or you can dance to our Wurlitzer Juke Box. We offer Big Screen TV for sporting events, and also packaged liquor, beer and wine for your convenience. Swing by for icy cold beverages or pizza, live entertainment, billiards, or even gaming as The Bank Club boasts the largest single jackpot payout in the entire county! Put this amazing place on your next itinerary and swig some suds in a piece of Nevada’s alluring history.
